2. Website hosting
This website is hosted through OpenAI ChatGPT Sites, with technical infrastructure including Cloudflare. Technical connection data such as IP address, time, requested page and browser information is processed to deliver and secure the website and resolve errors. The basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, accessible website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Email and telephone contact
We process contact details and your message to respond to enquiries. Booking-related enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; general enquiries under our legitimate interest in communication, Article 6(1)(f). Our Gmail mailbox uses Google. 4. Booking system and calendar synchronisation
We use Smoobu GmbH, Pappelallee 78/79, 10437 Berlin, Germany, for availability, direct bookings and central booking management. The embedded form loads only after you activate it. Connection data is then transmitted to Smoobu. A script served by cdnjs/Cloudflare adjusts the form height, transmitting connection data to that service too. Activation is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Use “Close booking form” to withdraw consent for further access; prior processing remains lawful. You can also contact us directly.
Names, contact details, travel dates, guest counts and payment status are processed as necessary for bookings under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Calendar synchronisation with Airbnb manages occupancy and helps prevent double bookings. It does not turn your direct booking into an Airbnb booking. 5. Payment and your stay
For transfers, the bank processes data needed for payment. For PayPal payments, data necessary for the transaction, including the amount, booking reference and contact details, is transmitted to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22–24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal also processes data independently for its own purposes, such as security and legal obligations. Where legally required, we process guest registration details and transmit them to the competent authorities. Our colleague Vladimir provides on-site support for Sunrise Apartment Leni in Montenegro. He receives only booking and contact information needed to organise your stay, such as name, contact details, travel dates and guest count. Payment login credentials are not needed for this purpose. Vladimir also handles local guest registration. For this purpose he receives the legally required registration details and submits them to the competent authority. The specific registration data, recipients and safeguards for transfers to Montenegro will be checked before public launch.
6. Retention and international processing
Enquiries and booking data are retained as long as needed for handling and the contract, then deleted unless legal retention requirements or legitimate grounds such as resolving claims require further storage. Booking and accounting records may be subject to statutory retention periods. The specific deletion periods of the services used will be checked before launch.
Services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers must meet the requirements of Articles 44 onwards GDPR. Specific recipients and transfer safeguards for this website, including accommodation support in Montenegro, will be clarified before public launch.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for the future. Please contact us to exercise these rights.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Lower Saxony authority: https://www.lfd.niedersachsen.de/beschwerde Data required for a contract or legal obligation is identified accordingly; without necessary booking details we cannot process a booking.
8. Cookies and embedded content
We have not integrated advertising or analytics tools in our own website code. The activated Smoobu form and hosting infrastructure may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Their actual use and any required consent will be checked before public launch. When you open external links, the linked website’s privacy information applies.
